I'm Jamaica Slicer, the founder and CEO of Slicer Advisory. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, particularly within the realms of customer success and strategic sales, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, especially in the B2B SaaS sector.
My professional journey began in customer success, where I developed a deep understanding of client needs and the importance of delivering exceptional service. My career trajectory then took me to a dynamic role as a solutions consultant at a startup, where I was consistently the top selling solutions consultant focused on our largest software deals. It was a thrilling experience that culminated in an IPO followed by a private equity acquisition. The insights gained during this period were invaluable, shaping my approach to business and client relationships.
The next chapter of my career involved stepping into solutions leadership, where I was instrumental in building and nurturing the strategic Solutions Consulting and Customer Success teams at another promising startup. This experience not only honed my leadership skills but also reinforced my commitment to fostering talent and implementing robust processes.
